Why are some countries rich & other poor? The government play's an really important role in how rich your country is. That's because the socialistic type governments take a large % of what people earn to support the suppression of the same people. In most 3 world countries they have a dictatorship that is only interested in the wealth of the country. In africa some strong henchman get control and uses most of the national wealth to keep the people poor.
