Homework

Homework Challenge : P5 Compete in a sport for an entire season.

I play football and I have been playing it since I was five years old. I have played in Australia and here in New Zealand I have scored so much goals last season I was one of the top scorers for our team. Our team trains Tuesday's and Thursday's every week and once every year we do the Mount Challenge. The Mount Challenge is where you run up the Mount once take a break up the top and then coming back down and the goal is not to stop on the way. This year we are competing against a team of year Nine netballers who challenged us. After we do the Mount Challenge we do things on the beach like relays and touch rugby then once we have finished that we go and relax in the Mount Hot Pool's. Last year was one of our most difficult years in football because we had to verse Thirteen year old's. Every season we have a tournament that Papamoa host’s.
My team is all Thirteen year old’s and One Twelve year old. This year we are one of the only thirteen year old team’s in our competition so this year it will be a bit easier for us. Last year our team finished 6th out of 9. Papamoa Red Devils was our team last year and it is this year as well. Last year Red Devils got 13 points, we won 3 drew 4 and lost 9.
I am continuing my football and my dream is to play for Melbourne Victory and then move up in my career .

This is my team that just finished playing Onehunga. Onehunga is one of the best teams in Auckland and the North Island

 This is my team

Great to hear about your passion for your team. Yes, the grade 12/13 mixed thing does make it a real challenge but you should have the advantage this year - you may even win the division. The up the Mount challenge sounds difficult. I hope you weren't expected to dribble a soccer ball up there! Nathan do some research on how apostrophes are used - I noticed you are using apostrophes in the wrong places sometimes.
