Homework G2 Giving : Prepare 3 three course meals.


On Sunday night I did my last dinner. It turned out great and I really loved it. This is my step by step guide and pictures of how I did it and how it turned out. 

Number 3

Menu

Entree:
entree 
Tomato soup with croutons







  1. Cut crust’s off bread and cut middle into cubes. 
  2. Put in small dish Spray oil on top. 
  3. Grill in oven
  4. Heat soup in pot until boiling and simmer for five minutes
  5. Check croutons, take out once browned. 
  6. Add croutons to soup and parsley. 
Ingredient’s list:
  1. Bread
  2. Oil
  3. Soup
  4. Parsley to garnish
Main:
 Beef stock casserole







  1. Trim all fat off meat and cut into cubes. Place in bowl, sprinkle flour over meat, ensuring meat is completely coated in flour. 
  2. Get large non stick frying pan and put on to medium to high heat to brown the meat. 
  3. Get mushroom’s, carrot and onions and dice into halves. 
  4. Once meat is browned transfer to a slow cooker
  5. Peel garlic. 
  6. In a pan add onion and garlic cook until onion is browned 
  7. Once onions have cooked add mushroom’s cook until mushrooms have softened. 
  8. Add Beef stock and tomato paste and stir to combine. bring to boil. 
  9. Transfer food from pan to slow cooker. 
  10. Add carrot’s and diced tinned tomato’s, add salt and pepper for seasoning. 
  11. Cover and place on a low heat for 6-7 hours. 
  12. Once finished clean up kitchen. 
  13. After 5 1/2 hours get potatoes and peel. 
  14. Cut potatoes into cubes and place in pot.
  15. Cook for 30 minutes
  16. Once cooked mash with milk and garlic butter. 
Ingredient’s list:
  1. 1/2 cup tomato paste
  2. Onion’s 
  3. 250g button mushroom’s 
  4. 500 ML Campbell’s Real Stock - Beef
  5. Diced tinned tomato’s 
  6. Garlic
  7. 1.5 KG gravy beef
  8. 3 Tbsp olive oil 
  9. 1/2 plain flour 
  10. 2 carrot’s
  11. 1 large brown onion
  12. 2 cloves garlic, crushed
  13. Potatoes


Desert:
Pancakes









  1. Shake contents of bowl to loosen inside. 
  2. Fill to the marked line with water.
  3. Shake bottle
  4. Get small bowl and pour into it,  beat with an egg beater to get a smooth consistency to ensure no lumps are in it. 
  5. Get a small non stick frying pan
  6. Turn on gas to a low to medium heat. 
  7. Get a kitchen ladle to spoon in mixture. spread around 
  8. Wait till the pancake is bubbling, Flip pancake over with spatula. 
  9. Make sure both sides of pancake are brown 
  10. Put on plate. 
  11. Use up all pancake mixture   
  12. Serve with maple / golden syrup and with ice cream

  1. Bottle of pancake mixture.
